About us

We made a decision to follow our personal passion for cycling and keeping active by turning it into a service for you, our customers.

Cyclepath offers everything to keep your bike on the road.

From simple safety checks through different levels of service to complete strip-down and rebuild, we are equipped to meet all your bike needs at prices you'll appreciate.

Our workshop is fully equipped for jobs large and small, staffed by specialists who can offer you a professional service. Expert qualified* mechanics get your bike going again, carry out repairs and help you with any other problems you may have. We are always happy to help you out.

We can collect and return your bike to any address in North East Fife for a modest extra charge.

Since 2014 we have been proud to work with Transition University of St Andrews (www.transitionsta.org) ; in particular with the St Andrews Bike Pool. We provide expert advice and support at their regular drop-in Bike Maintenance sessions; we oversee maintenance of their fleet of long-term rental bikes; we lead courses in bike maintenance; and we provide support for their bicycle-related initiatives in the wider community.

We have also run Bike Doctor sesions at Dunfermline College and Abertay University. If your workplace would benefit from a visiting bike mechanic and a mobile workshop, please call and discuss your ideas.

Jim set up the business in 2014, operating at first from his garage in Edinburgh. He took over the current premises in St Andrews later that year, and has equipped it to cope with all sorts of repairs.

Opening times

Our presence at the shop varies fom day to day. The times below are a rough guide, but as we are sometimes out collecting, delivering and repairing, it's worth phoning before you make a special journey to visit us.
